Anti-Vibration/Isolation Mounts

  AMC Mecanocaucho™ Marine Mounts – are ideal for mobile applications requiring a more robust design for demanding conditions. These mounts provide different stiffness on the 3 axes – vertical elasticity, longitudinal stiffness and optimal lateral stiffness. The different stiffness on each axis offers major flexibility in the direction perpendicular to the crankshaft or shaft of the motor – this provides more effective isolation from vibration on all types of engines.

All metal parts have an anticorrosive treatment for outdoor applications and are RoHs compliant.

Used for mobile rotating machines that need major isolation capacity from vibrations and noise, shocks, oil and diesel - Include: pumps, compressors, marine propellers, ventilators, marine/land units, industrial vehicles.

  AMC BRB type mounts are antivibration components which work the rubber in shear and compression with an optimal ratio of stiffness and horizontal stability - the top metal hood (RoHs compliant) protects the rubber from ozone, UV, fuels and oils. BRB Mounts are used extensively across a wide range of applications such as pumps, compressors, generators, ventilators, air-conditioner units and other mobile rotating machines which are exposed to axial and radial shocks, petroleum-based products and weather.

  AMC BSB type mounts are antivibration materials which work the rubber in shear and compression with an optimal ratio of stiffness and horizontal stability - the top metal hood protects the rubber from ozone, UV, fuels and oils. They incorporate interlocking metal components that ensure a ‘fail-safe’ protection for mobile applications as it limits the ascending vertical movement when the mount is submitted to shock at traction.

  AMC V Shaped Mounts are manufactured using a block of high-grade natural rubber vulcanized to two symmetrically-tilted zinc-nickel plated steel plates complete with threaded 8mm studs on either side.

This design has better stability and elasticity to the standard ‘bobbin’ style mounts.  It also allows the mount to achieve lower frequencies and consequently better vibration isolation - ideal for portable ‘Gen-sets’, compressors, motors and pumps.

Stability is enhanced when two are installed symmetrically opposed to each other – available in 2 ‘Shore A’ hardness’s for different load ranges.
